LEARNING TO TRUST THE HIGHEST SOURCE

"IN the Lord I put my trust: ..." Psalm 11 vs 1 NKJV

What better way to start your morning but with a little spiritual upliftment?  I am slowly working on a devotional project and the following is a sample of my work.  Feel free to comment below with your thoughts - I look forward to your feedback!

June 15, 2016

Read Psalms 11 it's just 7 verses, now focus your attention to verse 5.  This verse gives you a quick glimpse of a portion of God's nature.  It clearly lets us know that people who walk upright will be tested and it also indicates God's feelings towards evil and violence.

I'm sure you can attest to some challenging moments in your life where you didn't know where the darts were coming from, you were overwhelmed, frustrated and defeated.  Isn't it great to look back at the difficulties knowing that it was just temporary?  The key is how you weather the storm.  What support mechanisms do you engage in to safely go through the test or trial?

God wants you to TRUST Him TODAY!  Make a habit of TOTALLY RELYING ON GOD.  Can you trust with no questions asked? I know that is extremely difficult to do, it takes practice but that is the perfect opportunity to exercise your faith and patience.

Sometimes you have to stand still and see, sometimes you have to pause - just stop - and let God work on your behalf!

I will put my trust in the Most High

And... there you have it right from my pen to this entry - hopefully you gathered some strength from it - stay positive - YOUR BEST IS YET TO COME!

More information about this project (we are still in draft mode) is forthcoming - I'll keep you posted.  Happy Wednesday & enjoy the Holiday weekend!
